Why have a wedding planner? A wedding planner helps turn your vision into a clear, organized, and seamless experience. At Anvira Events, we support you through the details couples often do not realize they need help with: timelines, vendor communication, logistics, guest flow, budget guidance, floor plans, cultural details, problem-solving, and day-of execution. Our role is to protect your peace, your time, and your overall wedding experience. We help keep everyone aligned, anticipate issues before they happen, and make sure the celebration feels intentional from start to finish. Instead of you, your family, or your wedding party managing the day, we step in so you can be fully present and enjoy it.

What makes Anvira Events different from other wedding planners? Anvira Events plans weddings across cultures, styles, and traditions, with a specialty in South Asian and multi-day celebrations. What makes us different is that we bring experience across every aspect of weddings, not just planning. Our team has hands-on experience in areas such as bridal styling, makeup, choreography, photo and video flow, décor, vendor coordination, timelines, and guest experience, which allows us to understand what each vendor needs and how every detail connects behind the scenes. As a sister-led team, we combine luxury-level logistics, vendor expertise, cultural awareness, and a relationship-first approach into one seamless process. Because we understand weddings from multiple angles, we are able to step in with confidence, anticipate needs, support vendors effectively, and guide the celebration with calm, thoughtful execution. We do not just manage details, we help shape an intentional celebration that feels elevated, personal, and true to you.

How much do your services cost? Our pricing is customized based on your event type, guest count, number of events, and the level of support you need. We offer options across a range of budgets. The best first step is a free consultation where we can understand your vision and walk you through what makes sense for you.

Do you have preferred vendors, and do you help with vendor meetings? Yes. Anvira Events has an established network of trusted vendors across all three of our markets, including photographers, videographers, caterers, florists, DJs, dhol players, decorators, makeup artists, and vendors who specialize in South Asian, multicultural, and traditional wedding celebrations. We are happy to make vendor recommendations based on your vision, budget, style, and event needs. For transparency, our recommendations are never commission-based. Every vendor we suggest is based on quality, reliability, experience, and fit for your celebration. Our loyalty is always to our clients, not to referral fees. When vendor partnerships do offer a referral benefit, we advocate for that value to be passed directly to you whenever possible. Vendor meeting support depends on your selected package. Full-service planning clients receive more hands-on vendor communication and meeting support, while partial planning or coordination packages may include vendor guidance based on the scope of services. We already have a venue. Can you still help us? Absolutely. Many of our clients come to us after securing their venue. We can step in at any stage of the planning process and pick up exactly where you are.

Do you plan and coordinate South Asian, Indian, and multicultural weddings? Yes. Anvira Events supports South Asian, Indian, multicultural, and multi-day wedding celebrations with thoughtful planning and detailed coordination. We understand that these weddings often include multiple events, family traditions, cultural ceremonies, large guest counts, detailed timelines, and many moving pieces. Our team helps manage the full wedding weekend experience, including events such as welcome parties, haldi, mehndi, sangeet, ceremonies, receptions, and farewell events. From vendor timing and family flow to transitions, timelines, and event-day logistics, we help ensure every part of the celebration feels organized, intentional, and seamless.

Will Nisha or Neema personally be there on the day of? Yes. One of our lead planners, Nisha or Neema, will be personally present on the day of your event to oversee execution, manage the timeline, coordinate with vendors, and ensure everything flows smoothly. Depending on the scope of your wedding or event, both may be present along with additional support.

Do you help create the wedding day timeline? Yes. We create detailed wedding timelines that align your ceremony, photos, vendors, family moments, setup, transportation, and guest experience.

Do we travel? What areas does Anvira Events serve? Anvira Events serves Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, and beyond, supporting couples with wedding planning, wedding coordination, and multi day event management.

What does Anvira mean? Anvira blends two Sanskrit roots: • Anvi: full of life, vitality, wholeness, inner light • Vira: courage, strength, disciplined action; the “heroic rasa” in classical tradition Together, Anvira represents events shaped by heart, guided by purpose, grounded in creativity, and carried with strength.

Do you work with nonprofits? Yes. We work with nonprofits and mission-driven organizations to plan fundraising galas, awareness events, and community celebrations.
